What we collect, and why

We only collect information you choose to give us, through two forms on this site:

• The contact form — your name, phone number, email address, and message, so we can respond to your enquiry.
• The “notify me when products launch” form — your name, email address, and (optionally) a WhatsApp/mobile number, plus your explicit consent to be contacted about the launch, the version of this notice you agreed to, and basic technical information about how you arrived at the page (e.g. which advertisement or link you clicked, if any) so we can understand which of our own campaigns are working. We never collect this information without your explicit, un-preselected consent.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with unrelated third parties. Your launch-notify details are stored on behalf of Oritoke by Devv Studio, our website and technology partner, and are not shared with any other Devv Studio client.

Consent

For the launch-notify form specifically, we only record your details after you explicitly check a consent box describing what you are signing up for — that box is never pre-checked for you. We record the exact time you gave consent and which version of this notice was in effect at the time, so we can always show you exactly what you agreed to.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses Vercel Analytics, a privacy-preserving analytics service that does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. If we ever add advertising tracking (such as a Meta Pixel for our Instagram/Facebook campaigns), it will only run after you explicitly accept it via the cookie banner on this site — declining keeps it off, regardless of your device or browser settings.

Unsubscribing or requesting deletion

You can ask us to stop contacting you, correct your details, or delete your information at any time by emailing momandisalon@gmail.com. We will action your request as soon as reasonably possible.

Your rights under South African law

South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) gives you the right to know what information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to object to how it is used. The contact details above are how to exercise any of these rights with us directly.

Changes to this notice

If this notice changes in a way that affects how we handle information you have already given us, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where practical, let existing launch-notify subscribers know.
